These Asian sticky pork ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, glazed in a rich, sweet, and savory sauce, and finished with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds for that perfect crunch. A crowd-pleasing dish that’s bold in flavor and perfect for sharing!

Method

Preheat the oven to 150°C. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and 1/4 cup of the brown sugar. Set aside.

On the back of the rack of ribs completely remove the white membrane. Pat the rub mixture over the front and back of the slab of ribs. Cover the ribs (meat side up) tightly with foil.


Place 1/2 cup brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar, ginger, sesame oil, and garlic in a small pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Let the sauce cool to thicken.

Remove the ribs from the foil. Brush the ribs with the sticky Asian sauce. Set the oven on the broil setting. Broil for about 3 minutes and then brush with sauce again. Broil an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce starts to caramelize. Remove from the oven. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onion.
