Method

In a large pan melt butter over medium-low heat. Add the onions and saute until onions are translucent. Add the bacon and cook until brown and crispy.

In a small mixing cup, mix the milk and corn flour. Add this to the bacon and onion mixture and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture has thickened up and is smooth and bubbly. Lastly, add the ricotta and mix until well combined. Add the spinach and peas and let it simmer over low heat until the gnocchi is cooked.

In the meantime, bring a medium pot half-filled with water to the boil. Add the gnocchi and cook for 5-10 minutes, cooked gnocchi will float to the top. Drain the gnocchi and add to the ricotta sauce mixture and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
